Today we’ve got one of my Glasgow Southside favs – Tapa Organic. They have a branch in Dennistoun too which I haven’t visited, but I’m sure it’s equally as great.

Sitting on Pollokshaws Road (across from the wonderful Southside Roasters cafe), Tapa serves up fresh, delicious breakfast and lunch dishes. From a full breakfast and French toasts to fresh deli sandwiches and Caesar salad – they’ve got you covered on all the brunch classics. They also bake a huge variety of organic bread in their own bakery which you can buy to take away. And last but not least, I believe they brew their own coffee as well. Extra brownie points.

Another few things to note is they do offer gluten free, vegetarian and some vegan options on their menu. So they’ve basically got everyone covered. I went for the Philly Cheese Steak sandwich served on their fresh focaccia (drool), with a side salad. And R went for the full cooked breakfast. The full breakfast came with home-made baked beans which I thought was the nicest touch. Mine was so big I took some away in a doggy bag. They get five stars on value for money.

I really wanted to write a post about Tapa because they are everything I want in a local cafe. Their food is fresh with a personal touch, and the coffee is served velvety smooth. The prices are great and the staff were all lovely. I will definitely be back.

Thanks for reading <3
