Dear Green Coffee – www.facebook.com/deargreencoffeeroastersglasgow
Pop Up at 68 Clyde Street, Glasgow, G1 4LH
If you’re in need of some good coffee and fancy going somewhere new, head south down to The Briggait where you’ll find the Dear Green Pop Up. I made my first visit here last year around October, and they’re opening their doors again Friday-Sunday for the rest of summer.
Odds are if you’ve had a decent cup of coffee in Glasgow, you’ve sipped on beans brewed by Dear Green. They roast their beans in the East End, and stock loads of cafes and restaurants in the city/beyond. They take their sourcing and roasting pretty seriously which I admire. I don’t know all the ins and outs of ethical sourcing, but it is comforting to know the company are on top of it. Plus, their coffee is just DELICIOUS.
The pop up space itself is cute – nestled in The Briggait on the Clyde side. Alongside the coffee, they’ve got cakes and treats (and I think some other food too) in from local cafes and eateries on offer. When I visited they had one espresso and two filters available – I opted for a latte. And although I didn’t see it advertised, they were selling tea too. A shelving unit also displayed a selection of coffee making kit, including grinders, drip kettles and of course, beans, all available for purchase.
Well worth a visit for a relaxing caffeinated beverage in a cool environment. The Dear Green baristas were lovely, and the coffee and treats were perfect. So go visit, that’s Friday-Sunday for the rest of Summer! Thanks for reading.
